There is something beautifully enchanting about the atmosphere. Signs are hand written and there is a section for just about anything. The variety of literature they offer is unlike anything I've seen in other book stores - it's huge! Really eclectic. I loved the Latin American section and really appreciated having several of the books available in Spanish.
This is a small bookstore and it has some real gems in it. The owner is very friendly and knows quite a bit about books.

Globe Bookstore, in addition to being a great all-around bookstore that manages to bag some pretty well-known authors for readings and panels on a semi-regular basis, is your go-to place for funny birthday cards and useless, overpriced trinkets that you just have to buy. The aisles can get a little bit crowded, but that's just because everyone loves to shop and browse here, and rightfully so.
Small cozy space, with an upper level. Might be difficult for those with mobility constraints.nFriendly and helpful staff. Small selection.nSome cozy chairs to sit and read in on both levels. Perk: located nextdoor to a bakery.
