The energy in this store is beyond serene. Absolutely recommend for someone looking for some zen.
great service and tons of great books that are hard to find....variety of subjects
The manager has been here for decades. What’s not to love? She’s so nice and when there’s time she makes bag art. What’s not to love about that? When I got my personally designed shopping bag I felt the love that was infused in the colorful flower. There is a beefy selection of books across most, if not all, metaphysical genres (astrology, trees, power places, Buddhism, empathy, reading cards, intuitive healing, intuition, African traditions, and so much more). Check out the coloring book section if you like to color. You can browse in peace and if you need assistance, she’s a fount full of knowledge. There are other workers too and they are helpful as well.nnIn a lot of metaphysical shops you can’t look at a deck without opening it, which requires a purchase. Not this store. For each deck of cards for sale, there is a display deck you can flip through. This is amazing! There is a huge selection of all kinds of Rider Smith Waite, Marsaille, Lenormand, and oracle decks!!!nnIf you ever just want to relax, sit out on the patio with the bamboo - heavenly. You feel refreshed afterward. At least I sure did.nnCrystals? Yes, and they are affordable.nnThere’s also a library, but that’s more the Theosophical Society part, which I’ll review separately.nnHooray for brick and mortar bookstores!
