Seaside Vacations

Our beach rental had an awesome location being right on the beach. The deck and walkway right to the beach made it super convenient and helpful with young grandchildren. The home itself was very comfortable and perfect for all of us. We are hoping to come back! :)

Rented one of the oceanfront Pelican Place condos in Southern Shores - great experience with Seaside. From booking to check in to the immediate replacement of a rusty can opener (hey, it’s oceanfront, rust happens) I was delighted with the service. Seems like some of the reviewers on this site are just unhappy in general. I wonder what some of their personal spaces look like? Must be perfect in every way to come down so hard on rental property that is exposed to more people and more bad weather than normal.

This was a great house to spend a winter month - big, spacious, light filled, clean and well furnished. Great oceanfront location with beach access right outside the door (those empty beautiful winter beaches), grocery stores only minutes away. The kitchen was super well-stocked with equipment, dishes, etc. HVAC worked great even in the winter. Responsiveness and communication with property manager was excellent.

We stayed at “Beach, Please” in Nags Head for a 5 day mini vacation with 2 adults and 3 children. I was a little apprehensive when arriving as the homes are close together but we found that this particular home only has a neighbor on the backside and offers plenty of space and privacy. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival and tastefully decorated. The location was convenient and safe. Highly recommend! I felt that we got a steal for the price. If traveling with small children, note that a standard size baby gate is not wide enough for the stairs.

Was very disappointed in the service from Seaside Rentals.nGot a couple of emails from them once we checked in which stated “reply to this email and report the cleanliness of the home when you arrived and let us know if there's anything we could've done to make your arrival more comfortable”.nFirstly, not a big deal but they claimed there was a welcome package on the counter - none for us so let them know via email and no response.nSecondly, the bed was off all the supports when we checked in so I had to fix that - obvious sag in the middle.nThirdly, this is what frustrated us the most, the comforter was so incredibly stained we didn’t feel comfortable using it so had to get a new one. When I let them know via email (per their request) and call we got no response. The sheets were clean but seemed like they had been through the laundry about 1000 times.nnSeems like they don’t care.nnFast forward 5 months and I get a bunch of emails to leave a review here or on Facebook. But if it’s not positive then email them....
