This is a long overdue review from Nov 2020.... We decided to visit somewhere new last minute and found Gracie Bells on VRBO (we drove up from FL). We ended up booking directly with the owners, Tommy & Anita (who are absolutely amazing). IMPRESSED can describe how we felt about this wonderful ocean front home. It was exactly as described, it looked just like the pics, everything was very clean and they opened up the hot tub for us (at an extra charge as it was off season but totally worth it, nothing more relaxing than sitting in the hot tub on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the ocean waves crashing). The owners were there for any questions we had along the way and through our stay.This was our first visit to OBX so we are by no means experts on location there but we felt like everything was very close by, some amazing restaurants and bars along with grocery stores and shopping. If you are looking for a cute cottage home directly on the ocean and want to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean look no further. We can not wait to book our 2nd trip to Gracie Bell's, thank you to Anita & Tommy for sharing your home with us!

2020 - Google reviews won't let me add a new review for this year so I'll have to edit my review from last year.nnOnce again, we had a wonderful week at the beach home. The upgrades made in the past year are both functional and beautiful! I can't say enough about how wonderful this home is. The owners are just as great. Quick to reply and very friendly. We will definitely be back next year!nn2019 - Although Hurricane Florence forced us out after only 2 days, we know this is our forever beach vacation home. Anita is very friendly and prompt. The rental process was a breeze. The house is simply perfect. The size, layout, amenities, oceanfront views, location, charm....I could go on and on. Did I mention how great the owners are?! You can't go wrong with this rental.

My family has stayed here many times over the last 8 years. It is always spotless, the kitchen is well-stocked, and it is right on the beach! The owners have been kind and responsive about the minor requests we have made. Even though the house isn’t large, the layout is great, and could very easily accommodate more than our family of four (we only use half of the bedrooms). Wonderful place for a family vacation!!!
