This is a very well run hotel. All of the staff are pleasant and work hard to create a positive experience for the guests. I particularly appreciate GM Ciarra and her capable leadership style. This is the first hotel that has let me know my room was available early. Much appreciated. I also like access to free coffee and tea, while other hotels have shut that offering down during the pandemic. A beautiful location - you can hear the surf at night, if you keep your patio door open. Well done, Kitty Hawk Hilton Garden Inn.

It's really like a 4.5 out of 5.nnThe location and staff are GREAT. Food was good at the hotel restaurant.nnThe pool was crowded at times, and towels disappeared quickly. (Though we were there during spring break, this could be expected.) The one down side to the room was the noise after flushing the toilet. I did not complain to the front desk about it because I am overly sensitive to noises in general. It didn't bother my children as much as it bothered me. The toilet functioned well, the bathroom was nice, no real complaints. Due to COVID, housekeeping does not come daily, which also is not an issue, just an FYI for those wondering.nnThe manager was extremely helpful when my oldest daughter fell on our way out to our car one morning. She is ok, and they called to ensure everything was alright with her later in the day. Her knee gave out on her, nothing to do with the facility.

Went for my birthday. Oceanview room with balcony overlooking the pier/beach was nice. Room was clean. Front desk staff courteous and helpful. Whirlpool tub is a little shallow for an adult. Breakfast (shrimp and grits) was excellent. The rocking chairs on the end of the pier were a fantastic touch for a little time under the full moon. Short walking distance to some great restaurants. We chose Thai, and I recommend that.

Overall, pretty nice place. Very clean and rooms are fine. Breakfast was very good and service in the restaurant were nice. My wife kept trying to use the business center while I was eating breakfast. There is only one computer and unfortunately there was an employee using this for a very long period of time. This area should be reserved for guests. My wife finally had to ask her how long she would be and she got up and left. Never a sorry for taking up a guest. amenity.
