Trail is marked by metallic markings on trees, just keep an eye on those and you won't wander off into a wash off trail made by rain. There is a little bridge that is pretty slippery from algae so watch your step on it. The trail can be a bit muddy after it rains so keep that in mind. My wife and I enjoyed the trail with our toddler.

I had the privilege of working on the Trail as a MST aka Mountains to Sea Trail Volunteer, Trail Team Leader for Section 15B in Pender and Onslow, a certified Sawyer, Tree Dotter, Trail Blazer, Bridge Builder, etc,, etc,, etc so we cleared the Trail of Hurricane fallen trees over boardwalks, cleared the Trails of over growth and made some wonderful friends :)nnI'm looking forward to working on other Trails.

Cool nature walk didn't finish the trail didn't hv the time but a pretty walk interesting things to see
