I love riding the salt lake express it's so convenient. Drivers are always so nice USB hook up for my phone to charge on the way to my destination. Very comfortable seating. My driver today was especially friendly and helpful thanks Bob for another wonderful experience.
They made me miss my flight. I was to arrive 3 hours before my scheduled flight they got me there right when my plane was taking off. I got home almost 16 hours later then I would have before. Thank goodness that United let me switch to another flight. This company screwed me out most of my weekend home after my annual training with the military and didn't even care. I recommend using the other shuttle company.
Today I went the re-grand opening of the now "Salt Lake Express" because one of the thing on the list that they said they were now doing well was checking temperatures, social distancing and wiping down their vehicles between stops. So I wanted to see what they were going to say or show that they are better than their competition. What a joke. The ice cone trucks, which had 16 people in line one right after another and the ice cream truck, which had 18 people in line again one right after another. Also the trucks were parked in a way that there was no way for people to keep their social distance. They did not required for people to wear masks either. To get your free $20 certificate you had to cram into their tiny office to get it. To enter into the drawing for more free stuff, again you had to cram into their tiny office to fill out the form for the drawing. This was NOT THOUGHT THROUGH!! When I counted how many people were in the office I could see in the picture I took I could count 25 people, however, I could not see everyone who was in the office. I did not see any masks being offered, however, that doesn't mean that it didn't happen. Maybe they were in the office which I refused to go into. I saw NO hand sanitizer anywhere, not even at the food trucks where people were going to be eating food that they touched with their hands. This little party of sorts was put together by the Salt Lake Express. If these are any examples of how they are going to take care of me or my children when we are using their business, NO THANK YOU!! I will pay the little extra and take the competition, who I KNOW is doing a good job sanitizing their vehicles because I've just sat and watched to see if they are living up to what they say they are doing. I, however, have sat and watched Salt Lake Express and they did NOT that's right they did NOT wipe down their vehicles. When it happened with the first vehicle I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for the next vehicle. But AGAIN they did NOT wipe down the vehicle between trips like it used to say I their website and what their competition does. Yes, deep cleaning the vehicle at the end of it's shift helps, however, it does NOTHING for the customers the get on after the first group of people who rode in the vehicle. A wipe down of the seat or spray with a antibacterial or antiviral, if there is such a thing. It takes the driver 30 seconds. Salt Lake Express are not doing what they say they have recommitted themselves to keeping us, me, my family safe. FAIL *they have changed what they said they are doing to clean the vehicles. Now they say ONLY at the end of the vehicles shift. This morning it was after every trip and now like I said only at the end of the night.
I have been disappointed in the past but WOW this to me says they do not have a clear understanding how viruses work if they have a party under these conditions. So there is no way they can put me as the customer first and care for my health while getting me from one place to another.
The country has been up in arms about a Government official having parties under these "CONDITIONS" that were basically the same. (This is NOT a political conversation, it's a situational comparison) Well I'm up in arms!!
One of the Reps, Kiersten helped me get a ride on the Salt Lake Express recently. Each time I get a ride the Reps have been courteous and efficient. Salt Late Express does awesome work. The buses are clean and they have never failed to get me where I need to go at an acceptable time. They have even started cleaning the buses with hospital grade cleaning and offering masks ever since Covid-19 (one of the drivers told me on my last trip). They are awesome! If you need a ride anywhere in their area, I highly recommend them!
Horrible customer service, the driver i guess forgot he worked, and left me waiting, and the customer service rep was so rude, I called after waiting for two hours and then she said oh yeah I was supposed to call you, and so I asked to speak to the manager who didnt want to take the time to talk to me since it was the weekend, and she said he would call back on Monday, well its been 6 days! I then was offered a ride again later in the day and no show for ten minutes! Don't bother going with this company, they clearly are too unprofessional to handle the importance of getting people to the airport in time!
