I called Oak Hill Fire Station 62-1 to ask about the number of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors I should have in my home, as well as the best location for them. I expected that someone would tell me the regulations for smoke alarms over the phone. Instead, the EMT/fireman came to my house to show me the exactly quantity, style, and optimal placement for the detectors. He could not have been any more professional, helpful and informative. I totally appreciate his kind assistance!
