This is such a cute historic and fun place to stay. Fits the entire family including extended family members and you still have privacy. With a pool and tennis courts everyone is always entertained. It’s in a great location close to shopping and entertainment. I would stay again! You get a great rustic experience getaway!

Nice place to stay with the whole family, cool historical B&B but is a little smelly (obviously from being old) has a pool and a tennis court. Would definitely come visit again!

Warning: do not stay here. We used to stay here on a regular basis. After months of them telling me they would refund me since we had to vacate due to unsafe and unsanitary conditions, the lady working for the property owner called and argued with me and basically said they don’t offer refunds. We checked in at 10pm, found two brown recluse spiders and a black widow, mold in the coffee maker, mold in the showers, broken shower tiles and dead bugs on the carpet. We checked out the next morning at 7am. Also the smell everyone complains about is true...it’s mold. This place needs to be shut down. Do not stay here.

Well where do I start? Just pulled up the most misleading web page I have ever read. Not to mention the pictures were taken many moons ago because nothing looks like what myself and my family just endured. Ok so I will start with the reason for renting in the first place, a memorial reunion for the passing of my grandparents, with family members traveling from as far as ALaska and Connecticut. Arrival, wow this place is beautiful, until you go inside and get the smell of urine, mold and whatever else it was. Ok so lets uncover the pool so when the kids arrive they have something to do. well It took three people to uncover because the winding wheel for the cover is BROKEN, oh and so was the pool, infested with bugs, smelled like an old swamp. And after calling management company we simply get oh yeah the pool is broken no impeller to move water or add the heated water to it. Hot tub, smelled the same and was hardly a HOT tub more like a bathtub, a smelly mildew ridden one at that. ok so maybe the kids can entertain themselves with tennis....nope had to scrounge in the dump of an adjacent yard to find old balls that had been hit over the fence. Oh and 3 of the one dozen rackets that were there are usable, the rest, you guessed it BROKEN! I thought it would be nice to do some grilling for the family and the grilling station is a joke, riddled with black widow webs and dirty as can be, the grill well had to return the steaks as there was no propane hooked up and I didn't feel like disturbing the black widows that had claimed the grill as home. so lets sum this up, Broken and run down are the two words that fit this "majestic" "resort" property. We made the best of a truly misleading situation and mourned the loss of our grandparents while mourning the fact that we had paid for this type of experience. We rented this property Oct, 6, 7, 8th 2016, if you have plans to rent anytime soon,PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE and inquire about all of these short comings... or I'm afraid you to will be mourning the loss of your money as well....STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE....
