Terrible service no one pays any attention to what is going on! They won't let you see your own doctors. They want to do everything in-house. However, they don't do what they should. When we were finally able to see our own doctor he was appalled at the care that was being received, or should I say the lack of care.nIt's a disgusting place!

worst place ever they violate saftey laws.let patientsalmost die the owners a fluke .i know 6 people who have passed away or are in critical care now duevto the neglect atbthis slum ome do not use them need shut down

Wayne was only there for 4 months. During that time we had to deal with hurricane Florence. He was briefly moved to their sister unit in Raleigh.nI have nothing but love for this place. They are top notch in my book. EVERYONE that I had the pleasure of encountering was loving and kind Respectful to familynWayne suffered with Alzheimer and by the time he got there he was very far into the decease During his time there he was loved on cared for in a manner that was probably be closer to a family members love for him. The nursing staff and the administration staff are some of the best around. The home is beautiful always clean bright and cheerful. I didn’t eat the food but it sure smelled good. There always seemed to be some activity going on all the time. There are a lot of nursing homes in our area and I dealt with a lot of them in different ways Some good some not so good. I would advise anyone if them need rehab or nursing home care to memory unit. This should be your choicenThank you UHC staff for the difficult job that y’all have and for doing it so well and with some much grace. Y’all truly have been a blessing in our lives and I thank the Lord for y’all ever day.nMuch love and respect to you all thanks again

My mother was a resident at this facility for over 3 years and we enjoyed every moment of her stay. The staff seemed to always be consistent and caring to her needs. The director of nursing is newer and has been a gift from god. Her compassion for the residents can be seen in the staff she had hired. I could always approach someone in the front office and get an answer to mothers questions immediately. I appreciate all that they did for my mother.

My experience at Universal was wonderful. I was there for short term rehab on my knee. The therapists and nursing staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and cared for. The building is extremely clean with no odors. I would come back if I required it in the future.
