If you want some cheap and unhealthy greasy food, this is your place. Their options are very limited, fries are bland. We took some lunch out and it was just okay! It’s inside the campus so can stop by for a quick food anytime while working.
My first time at this Steak and Shake and it was meh. I went to get food for me and my friend. I patiently waited in line til it was my turn to order. The cashier didn’t say anything to me so I just said I wanted two burger and fries and a side of cheese fries. Didn’t have to wait very long and got my food. I looked inside and noticed only one fry. So I waited and told her I think I might be missing a small fry. She took the bag and looked inside and said it was in there. It was not. I just told her not to worry about it and left. I’ll probably come back. I haven’t even ate yet
The service was quick and hot. First time going to the one on campus. Design to get the students out fast and in a hurry. My family and I enjoyed it very much.
My first time at a steak and shake and the cashier was extremely rude. I assumed she was having a bad day and I understand that, cause I work in fast food as well. But there’s no reason to take your frustrations out on a customer like that.
The food is good especially considering it is on a college campus and ran by college students. It can get really crowded, and it takes them some time to cook your meal. However the food is good, but note it is a limited menu.
