Went to this place because Great Clips was giving me a hard time. I walked into this barber shop having no idea what I wanted other than that my mom told me to get a hair cut. I told him “I don’t know what I want. I just want it short.” He did one hell of a good job. Had a date that night. Went excellently. She told me she liked my haircut and then it was a home run. I will go to this barber for as long as I am in St. Louis.

Usually great during the week. On the weekend they don’t enforce their mask policy or one person in the store at a time policy. Two weekends in a row I’ve been unable to get my son a haircut here because it’s crowded with not many wearing masks. It’s gross.

Dave’s is an old-fashion barbershop that I have visited for many years. Here you can get a fast (5 to 7 minutes), reasonably priced ($16), no-frills haircut. In these COVID-19 times, the barber (Dave’s nephew) wears a mask (and so did I), and there are no people in the waiting area: they are supposed to wait in their cars in the parking lot until called. At the time of the day I went (11:30 a.m.) there was no wait so I was in and out quickly.
