Two failed spinal fusions and destroyed my life!!! Promised he would do surgery, but didn't even know what was going on with my case when asked. He let students perform surgery even after he promised it would be him. Had to find doctor to fix the mistakes under Dr. Nanda!! Researched doctors before first surgery and he's listed as one of the best in the nation. Don't believe it!!! Only out for doing multiple spine surgeries for increased revenues!!

The new doctor than replaced doctor Nanda is named Brian Willis and is by far one of the worst Neurosurgeons in this country!nDoes not care for his patients health or life!nMany people including my wife have had to seek help in Baton Rouge and New Orleans because he won’t listen or even answer calls or messages. You only see good reviews on line, maybe it's because the bad reviews are taken off, but I will give it a try. Dr. Nanda was supposed to do fusion TLIF with a cage on my L4, L5 and pedicle rods S1. He put in pedicle screws and rods and didn't do fusion on L4/L5I but he removed the vertebra disk. When I questioned the procedure your PA Alice wouldn't answer me Why? When I finally questioned you, you said you were trying to fuse my back another way and never explained the reason for removing the L4/L5 vertebra disk.Why? I obtain my medical records from the hospital and the surgery summary you wrote you didn't put in the cage because of scar tissue. I am worse now than I was before my surgery. I have had so many injections that haven't worked, physical therapy that hasn't worked and he totally made a mistake with my surgery. 2 yrs later, and I am still on nerve and pain medication just to be able to walk. I'm now 57 years old. I do nothing but work to pay the bills. By the time I get home I have to go straight to the sofa as I hurt so bad. My life has changed forever. I don't go out a whole lot any more, I can't walk for long periods of time without hurting so bad. please get another opinion before going to Dr. Nanda. In the films from an MRI, CT Scan and Melegram you can see 3 screws straight and 3 are crooked and the disk removed. It says the screw on S1 is lose I'm in the process of trying to find another doctor to help me. He gets a zero rating from me. I put 1 star because it wouldn't let me post without putting a star. He's a BIG ZERO.... 4/30/2018. For those of you who had a successful surgery, I'm so happy for you and wish my surgery was successful. Trying to go through life everyday with a leg that is numb and burns all day long while aching and my back just plain hurts all day every day too. Right now I'm trying to do stuff around the house and I'm hurting so bad I can't even finish. I have to let everyone know he ruined my life. There are too many other neuro surgeons, you may want to get another opinion from. Dr. Nanda, while you go through your day happy as can be, I go through my life hurting. What you did to me was HORRIFIC. YOU RUINED MY LIFE. It is now April, 2018 and my back and leg are getting worse not better. You and your PA said I have to give a fusion time to heal. It has been 2 years which is plenty of time to heal and I am worse now than ever. I'm just so mad that Dr. Nanda took what was an awesome life that I had and turned it into a life of hurting all the time. I will never be the same. I hate what you have done to me Dr. Nanda. I will never be that outgoing man again. Everything in my life has declined because of you. I wish I would have gone to someone else. My life probably would be better than it is now.. But you took it away. Those who post are saying good things. NOT ME. YOU RUINED MY LIFE....

Eleven years later I am still thrilled when I think about the wonderful experience I had with Dr. Nanda. He was so reassuring, confident, patient with all my questions and gave me excellent care. He did brain surgery to remove a large cyst and I cannot say enough thank you's. If I had to have brain surgery again, I would travel the world to get him as my doctor.

Great doctor and great person . Very upbeat attitude and very skilled doctor. His gives all the honor and praise to God. He and his staff are awesome. If you have to have any neurosurgery done, go to him. He is the go to man. Everyone told me when I had to have my surgery done that if they had to pick anyone to do surgery on them it would be Dr. Nanda. After 2 surgeries, I agree 110%.
