Unfortunately, we were unable to actually stay at this house. So, my review isn’t so much about the accommodations, but more about the lack of honesty, professionalism and credibility of the owner. Initially, we booked and paid for our stay thru AirBnB, but then the owners decide to pull the listing from the AirBnB sight. He contacted us directly and stated we would have to rebook thru VRBO prior to us being refunded for the first time we paid for the house. This somehow became our problem when we were simply trying to reserve and pay for a place to stay. Once AirBnB refunded our money, we tried to rebook thru VRBO as suggested, only to find the owner had changed the criteria of the house, making it a 4 day minimum and essentially making it impossible for us to book it. All ofnthis occurred after numerous calls, texts and messages where we were assured he would still block off the dates and we would be able to rebook it, none of which was true. Additionally, all of this took place at the last minute, so we were left scrambling to find a different vacation home. Maybe we should count our lucky stars...if the owners are this difficult to deal with when the customer is trying to jump thru his hoops and pay in full, I can’t imagine that his house is worth the hassle. Buyer beware.
