Excellent front staff at emergency department courteous and professional. Wait time less than 30 minutes and nursing staff very well trained and polite. Doctor was prompt to evaluate and trrat my injury and overall great experience aside from being injured . I was in and out in roughly 2 hours and normally I would have been waiting to seen longer than that much less tr rated and released. Keep up the good work

Literally the worst experience of my life. I brought my mother to this hospital when she was very sick with a bad case of colitis. She would call me crying daily bc the nurse that she had was so negligent towards her needs. Needs such as placing the food and water at a place she could actually reach. Then when I would drop off food or new change of clothes for her , including her glasses, which she needs to see they would never be given to her at all, and the food would be cold by the time they got around to help her. The least they could do is warm it up in the microwave. She went from bad to worse while there. Everytime I called she sounded so awful. She told me that she felt like she was dying! When I would talk to her nurse they would tell me she was fine and people dont die from colitis, basically shrugging off my concerns. Then by day 5 she was bleeding internally and had to have two blood transfusions! I don't know about you, but that sounds serious. Everytime I asked to talk to the doctor I was transferred to the nurse who seemed very irritated that I had questions. I never once spoke to, or saw the doctor. I felt like I was deliberately ignored . They ended up transferring her to a specialist in Gainesville . Why would you wait that long send her to someone who specializes in her condition?? They have no compassion for their patients or their loved ones. I work in a veterinary clinic and we treat the animals we have as patients better than they did my mom. That's saying something. Dont take anyone you care about there.

I had to come here at 1 AM for a foot problem from Helen, GA. We were only visiting and my foot was extremely inflamed so I drove over the hill and through the woods to get to this hospital. The drive itself was so scary ud83eudd74 but when I go to the ER they took really good care of me and the dr gave me meds that knocked out the inflammation fast and I was able to sleep when I got back to the cabin. We are stationed at Langley, VA and I was upset I had to go to a place I never been but was very happy they took care of me fast and was all very nice and the dr was very knowledgeable on what to prescribe considering I was pregnant and did not pressure me to taking medicine I didn’t think was safe, and he reassured me everything would be OK. Thank you!

Recently our mom was admitted to the Swing Bed Rehab area of the hospital and our emotions were high because our mom had a stroke and was being transported from Kennestone and we didn't know what lay ahead for her. Before we made the decision to have her close by in a rehab facility I called and spoke with the head individual over the Swing Bed Rehab. I immediately felt a calm and peace with the care that was told to me of the care our mom would receive. The director was courteous, professional and beyond willing to help us get things worked out so mom could be admitted to the facility. Once there, I cannot even tell you the care from everyone! From the nurses, to the therapist to the directors over rehab it was nothing but excellent care. They went above and beyond for our mom, us and her continued care beyond her discharge. We have been blessed and thankful for such a wonderful experience.
