Do yourself a favor waive your right to arraignment and ask for a jury trial they will tranfer your case over to the superior court. Otherwise my money is on you getting talked into a guilty plea

I got a DUI in January 2013, I served 62 days in jail, had no previous criminal record. I went to treatment as ordered, the treatment center didn't get the information to the court in time so Judge Moore issued a warrant for me. I am back in my hometown in Montana. I contacted my previous attorney who showed I had been to treatment no new charges and that I am on the presidents list for a 4.0 GPA in college. He won't retract the warrant. I am supposed to go back to Lynnwood turn myself in or pay a $10,000 dollar bond. How is this justice....

This is the home of the laziest police force in Snohomish county. Not only are they lazy but also racist, broke, bored, and will lie to get their way. They will try intimidation tactics and will profile anyone with even a drop melanin. This police departments needs a complete make over. Even the prosecutors dont like defending then because they are hard to defend. I have friends in the prosecutors office that's not an exaggeration or fabricated statement. These officers make cops look bad. Most of them carry the attitude of a boys that were bullied when they were young now they have power and abuse it at every opportunity.

The absolute worst service. They try to make everything difficult

I would have to correct the other reviewer in regards to his/her depiction of Judge Moore. I used to live in Lynnwood for about 7 years and had to appear in court for various traffic infraction. Judge Moore is a man with a big heart, he is one of the most humane judges you'll ever come across.nI attended many hearings and I saw him interacting with the public. I bet many Lynnwood residents miss him now that he is retired. He had a witty sense of humor, I remember the audience bursting in laughter whenever he made a funny remark regarding an infraction. The man knew how to entertain his audience.nAs a part of the group that made up the Lynnwood Citizens Academy I remember him telling us about the inner working of the Municipal court and his interactions with some defendants that had tried to get out of a ticket. Especially the red light camera infractions. He was good story teller.nI used to see the judge at the grocery store and greeted him every time.nBut when it comes to the Police Department they have some idiots for officers. I was once pulled over for absolutely no reason: I was apparently driving to slow at 11 in the evening on 196th st. Right, so should I have speeded up at that late hour? Then the stupid cop said ok, ok, but you made an illegal right turn on Hwy 99. The guy had to find an excuse. But most officers there are cool and professional
