Fortunate to have found Dr Shah when searching for a doctor of his specialty over 15 years ago. He deserves the five stars for many reasons, he is remarkably intelligent, professional, compassionate, intuitive, insightful, but most importantly for us, he has helped me and my family get through difficult times and back to normal.

Mahendra Shah M.D has been nothing but helpful, extremely respectful and a caring individual.nnI am an agoraphobe who only went out of his house at least once a week to do some shopping. Within one year of help from Dr. Shaw, he has done for me what other doctors couldn’t do for years.nnNow I have a job(where before I was afraid to go out to even find one) where there is a sea of people but it doesn’t bother me one bit, in fact I enjoy the crowds now.nnAlso a little side note he not only cared about my mental health but my physical health and was always encouraging me to loose weight. Since I’ve been with him I have lost over 30 pounds and I feel alive!nnA little encouragement goes a long way. Thank you Dr. ShahnnAlso one last thing, the receptionist are lovely as can be and they make you feel at home.

DO NOT GO HERE! I bet they will remove this review considering that the reviews were much worse the last time i checked. Dr. Shah's office lady is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Dr. Shah is not reliable in terms of meeting my needs, he doesn't care about you and just gives you medication and throws you out. Very unprofessional people; don't waste your time going here. There's a reason why theres many cancellations and not that many patients....

I would not recommend this psychiatrist. My son was diagnosed with one condition but given meds for another. When my son went back to him to explain the issues with the medicine, he was labeled as a person shopping for drugs. It wasn't until there was a major crisis that he was given the right medication...from another specialist! He refused to take ownership of his part in the situation AND another doctor had to get my son back on track. He is also condescending and rude.
