Progressive Pelvis Physical Therapy

Jackie is amazing! I have been working with her for just about a month now and just recently had the first period of my entire life where I didn't have to take any pain pills. In just one month, I went from a pain level of upwards of 15/10 down to probably a 6 or 7/10 at it's worst which didn't even last very long, and a 3/10 overall during my period, which literally HAS NEVER HAPPENED in over the last 20 years of my life. I usually lose DAYS, sometimes even a week when I have my period where I miss work and life. I'm talking literally passing out from pain. This time, I functioned normally almost the ENTIRE week of my period except for maybe half a day when the pain was at it's worst. So I literally didn't even lose a full day for the first time in forever. Again, this has never happened for me before! The work Jackie has done with me and the homework she has given me to help me with my painful periods is WELL worth the money. I am literally floored at how much better this period was for me, after having tried 4 different gynecologists and countless different remedies over the years, natural and medication. Jackie is a GAME CHANGER, seriously can't recommend her enough. I'm looking forward to seeing more progress with her in the months to come! Thank you Jackie!!!!

I began experiencing pelvic floor pain after an injury a couple of months ago. My doctor recommended Pelvic Floor PT, and I had no idea what it was, or if it would help me. After a conversation with Dr. Jackie, I felt that she understood what I was experiencing very well.nnI started going in for sessions, and getting amazing results and relief. Dr. Jackie is very knowledgeable and professional, really cares about her patients, and is the best at what she does. Maybe even more important than being a great practitioner, she also did an amazing job of teaching me how to manage things myself.nnI am very grateful to have found Progressive Pelvis, and would highly recommend to anyone who is experiencing pelvic floor issues, or who is on the fence about seeking care.

First and foremost, I should advise I am a mid-aged, African American male, and as seen on the news concerning everything from COVID-19 to syphilis, African Americans are EXTREMELY skeptical of those in the medical practice “especially” African American males. In late 2020, I went to see a very well, trained urologist at WellStar who is deeply immersed within the urology field due to pains in groin area and concerns of ED. I took a PSA test, and my score was NOT alarmingly high, but after tracing my PSA scores over the past several years’ as well as a “physical exam” (WOW), he concluded I have BPH (Benign prostatic hyperplasia). He provided me numerous, medical, and surgical options to alleviate the symptoms, which I was apprehensive and expressed doubt. Yet, I tried the medical option (i.e., Flomax) that seems to work, but I really did not like the side effects (headaches, stuff head, etc.). Thus, he offered physical therapy, which turned out to be “pelvic floor therapy” that really had me taken by surprise. However, I thought I REALLY did not want to go under the knife and the list of side effects and potential long-term issues was not going to work for me. Thus, I decided to try the pelvic floor option. From the initial interview, I was blown away by the wealth of info and knowledge Dr. Jackie provided. She showed me so many ways to lessen the pain and symptoms. After a few visits, I was able to get off the medication and my symptoms disappeared. Thanks to Progressive Pelvic and Dr. Jackie, I have been able to regain physical confidence to start back exercising, regularly stretching, and I’m happy to report, my sexual lifestyle has been significantly improved to nearly my old late 20’s / early 30’s self ud83dude0a.nnI cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Jackie deep knowledge, education, and professionalism. Dr. Jackie REALLY care about her patients and is the best at what she does.nnI must say, the stick price was slightly high, but in comparison to surgery and the long-term effects, it is ridiculously cheaper. I am very grateful to have found Progressive Pelvis and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who is experiencing pelvic floor issues, or who are on the fence about seeking care. You will NOT be disappointed!

I was experiencing pelvic floor pain, and doctors dismissed me and shrugged me off. On my first visit with Dr. Jackie, she was able to figure out what the problem was, and has been such a wonderful help in treating the issue. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who has had trouble finding answers.
