What a great find ... this is a very cool shop that will sharpen your knives and more. A well designed, inviting space and great service. Don't be dull ... GO!
I stopped at this shop just looking around for a kitchen knife to add to our wedding registry, but wound up spending almost $300 on a knife right then and there. They seemed very knowledgeable and trustworthy, so I felt very comfortable making the purchase, and have enjoyed using the knife every day since. We wound up moving back to Minnesota, and just recently sent the knife back to Kirkland to be sharpened. Great service.
Went here to get my knives sharped, left with $1000 worth of stupidly sharp amazing knives, cutting boards and a knife block.nnThe store has an amazing selection of (mostly) Japanese and German knives and a lot of collectors items.nnThe service was pretty impressive as well, I was bombarded (but not overwhelmed) by advice and information about all sorts of knives and techniques and was talked out of buying things I'd have had no real use for!nnThe sharpening job is pretty incredible, my knives are sharper than they ever were to the point were I'm almost scared to use them.nn100% coming back

This place is awesome. Superb, friendly staff. Always extremely helpful and a phenomenal selection of knives in all different price ranges.
