If i could give this school one star, i would because it was the worst school experience of my life, not to be dramatic, but as someone who transferred to this school a month into 7th grade, i never felt welcomed or felt like a part of the community. On my first day of school, I was invited to sit with these girl at lunch from my leadership class, and I was naturally excited, and we made awkward small talk and then then next day, they didn't invite me to sit with them, but I did because I had no where else to sit. They seemed almost offended by the fact that I would continue sitting at their table, and for the rest of the semester never talked to me, and never seemed to acknowledge my existence. At the end of that year when we were counting up extra credit points, much to my surprise I found out that a way to get ten points of extra credit was to invite a new student to sit with you at lunch, and they sure did that, but nothing more. This school was the most depressing campus I've ever been on, and as a student who's been to nearly six schools in eleven years of education, means a lot. I was made fun of for my race at this school and felt like an outsider since I hadn't grown up with any of the other kids. In my opinion, if you're considering sending your child to this school, the only thing that it's good at is it's academics. If you don't mind having a mentally unstable and cripplingly depressed child surrounded by talk to suicide and self harm, then sure, send you child here, but otherwise, I would recommend that you don't even move to Redmond. If I were you I would move to Seattle or literally anywhere else that isn't Redmond. It's a dead town, and only those who have no desire to go anywhere else in their lives live there.
It’s good IN GENERAL. The principals weren’t too friendly. The teachers were nice and taught us the things we needed to be taught. Had a lot of friends.
I love this school, I went there for 5-6th grade. They have amazing encouraging teachers. Teachers I've never seen before in a school. They are so polite and nice. My peers are also amazing. The school has their own track, gym, cafe, and individual safe classes for the students to learn in. I definitley recommend this school, and if you're a parent and scared that your child will get bullied. Well you don't need to fear, she kids are very nice and your child will be absoultley safe and sound. Some might disagree but this is my opinion. I rate this school a 5 star.
Used to love this school when I went! Met a lot of new friends. The teachers were mostly caring and actually cared about the students learning (minus one or two teachers)!
Evergreen's clubs and extracurricular activities were cool an definitely worth it. The math club here has won multiple awards and so has the science club. The students are funny and kind, many teachers are too. Some of the office staff are ok but overall great school!
