Pizza with a purpose; every pizza donates a meal to a hungry child in Malawi. The pizza is delicious, both the savory and dessert! Once you order, just head to a table, and a server brings it to you. The wait was a little long, but it was worth it. The crust is crunchy, the opinions varied, and the atmosphere reminded me of a food court at the zoo (African themed). Restaurant isn't far from the interstate, and it is located in a large mall for additional shopping.

We're all food critics when it comes to pizza right? We have our favorites - favorite toppings, thin or thick crust, New York or Chicago style. My favorite is the brick oven pizza at Malawi's. I thought I couldn't get enough of the artichoke and spinach pizza and the peaches and cream dessert pizza. They are so delicious I never wanted to order anything else. Until the apple pizza made its return for the holidays. Good bye peaches and cream (until Spring that is), hello apple! Since I liked that so much, I forced myself out of the box (the pizza box that is) and tried the Malawi Capri Pizza. I am very proud to say that I now have four favorites!

It was a very welcoming place and the food was great it is really hot in the building though on account of the brick oven they use to. Cook the pizzas

Really enjoyed the pizza. The thin crust was just enough to fill me up without feeling weighed down by bread. The sauce was just right without an abundance of aregano.

Went to the Fredericksburg location and it took 50 mins to get a plain cheese pizza and an order of chicken tenders, with only 4 other tables filled. Hate to think of how long it would haven taken if crowded. When it finally came, we had to ask for utensils and plates. The pizza crust was surprisingly not crispy, despite the brick oven, and unfortunately on the soggy side. What a rip off for almost $30. The tenders were tasty, but the only side/dipping sauce was ketchup or mustard. Certainly don’t advise a family with young children to come here unless you want a meltdown while paying $$$.
