Okay, here are the facts:nEveryone always says it's a bad school, but most of the time it is the students fault, some of the students here have the nastiest attitude and gossip, etc. But NOT every student in the school is bad, 2016-17 school year was my last year before being a high school freshmen, and I've met some of the kindest, funniest, and most unique people I could ever meet. So I guess it's *your* choice on which crowd you decide to be in. Any other school concerns would be that the school lunch is barely edible and last time I checked, the school was unaccredited, but it's not the worst school out there. I wouldn't suggest going there as a magnet student and just go there if you have to go there(you are zoned for it).

This is the worst school I have ever been to. If you are looking to move close to churchland don't go. This school lost my paper work from my old school and that made me miss the whole day of school. Kids there are very rude they laugh at you if you don't have any name brand things, girls dressing like hoes, boy sagging there pants fights. any thing you can name churchland has it. The worst thing is there are no windows in any of the classrooms so it is like you are in a jail cell. Some of the teachers are nice and some of them are not. But this kind of environment is not right. Oh yeah when you get off the buss and go through the school they have a giant metal detector, so if you have any thing in your pockets they will make you take it out, like at the airport. A good schoolto send your child to is Jolliff in Chesapeake VA. that school is a four star rating best school I went to in my whole life.

this school absolutely sucks the teachers are horrible and disrespectful the teachers sit around and talk about parents and students teachers yell right in students face and except students to not get mad or disrespect them back only 4 teachers in the school actually teach and the keyboarding and art classes are just horrible just disgusting the school is invested with wasp ants roaches and all sorts of bugs the also feed students stale food and the lunch lady's are disrespectful all the way i wouldn't recommend this school if my life depended on it. churchland middle school never allows the students to have any type of fun activities nor freedom. If your child's phone is in its back pocket any adult in the school will take it if your child's phone rings off the teacher will confiscate it. i feel this school horrible exactly why it has no accreditation as of now. the administrative gives 0 cares about your problems your will never hear the child's side of the story. the teachers spend 1.1% of their time teaching and the principal here as off 2016-2017 is horrible i would never recommend this school at all not even for a day . The students never anything fun to do when your in school its suppose to feel like another home but this school feels like a prison full of hateful guards
