Great church! Father Grant is awesome, and huge asset to the community. My wife and I have three small children, and the church has a lot of fun activities and programs for kids - glad we found Trinity : )

Grant Stokes is the worst thing that has ever happened to Trinity church. I have been a member for over forty years and he just blocked me from the church pages because I have a different opinion than him! The church has never been run so poorly and for a preacher to allow staff to be rude and disrespectful is utterly disgusting!

THE BELLS...THE BELLS...I live in the Kirn building at the edge of Court St and High St. The churches next to my building ring their bells all day long!! They start ringing their bells at 7:00am and they ring every 30-40 minutes during the weekdays (I work nights sometimes) all the way until 10:00pm. It is insane to listen to when you are trying to sleep... But they decide that they need to ring them even more on Sunday so it is every 15-20 minutes on Sunday from 7:00am until 10:00pm. Is there anything you can do to help me? PLEASE!! I need SLEEP please.... According to the City of Portsmouth Noise Control Ordinance below it is illegal for anyone to use a loud speaker to draw attention to any building or structure which is what they are doing with their speakers. Please stop breaking the law.nARTICLE IV: NOISE CONTROL, Section 3.403: NOISES PROHIBITED - UNNECESSARY NOISE STANDARD Section 3.401: C. Loud Speakers, Amplifiers for Advertising: The using, operating or permitting to be played, used or operated of any radio receiving set, musical instrument, phonograph, loud speaker, sound amplifier, or other machine or device for the producing or reproducing of sound which is case upon the public streets for the purpose of commercial advertising or attracting the attention of the public to any building or structure.

Great people that love the history of the church. They will show you around and explain to history, upon request.
