I am camping at Cherrystone and wanted steamed Blue Crabs. This was the closest place and I am so glad I called. Not sure why the bad reviews here had their experience but mine was awesome. I do suggest calling in your order when they open. My crabs were seasoned well, juicy and ready to eat. I would definitely recommend this place. I called at 10:15am and was told they would call me as soon as my order was ready. It was ready in less than 45 minutes. They even packaged them in a way that didn't leak in my car.

We ordered a couple dozen cooked crabs and they were unfortunately so overcooked they were soggy. Although they didn’t make us sick, the worst crabs I’ve ever had, light and brittle. Would not recommend for cooked crabs.nnWe did get some oysters that were ok. A lot of mud on the inside but reasonably priced and tasted ok. But can’t give a better rating just because of the crab situation.
We also stop on our way Virginia Beach and when we return home. Best seafood and friendly staff and we load up coolers on the why home. Only wish they would ship as its looking like no trip this year.
Brought a 1/2 bushel of steamed crabs and they turned out very bad. A few crabs on the top were decent but the majority were old and smelled of amonia. The crabshells and meat was discolored with dry legs. They did apologize and refund half out money back.
