The Oyster Farm At Kings Creek

An amazing marina with gorgeous views of both the Chesapeake Bay and Kings creek. The villas are always clean and comfortable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. One of the best marinas on the bay!!!!

The food was good. The service was really bad. We arrived about 7:50 for an 8:00 reservation. We were told that it would be a few minutes, no problem. Our party of 6 was shown to our booth, which could accommodate a party of 4. Looking around the dining room there were several dirty tables, including the larger table next to us was sitting dirty. Server comes over, wants to take the drink order, and she could not describe or recommend anything from the drink menu which featured several cocktails made with hypnotiq (some flavored blue liqueur). We ordered drinks, and had to catch her to order appetizers. Ordered oysters and steamed clams. A few minutes later she returned to explain they were out of clams, admitting they had been since the previous night (no big deal to run out of an item, but staff should know about it). We ordered oysters Rockefeller instead. Ordered entrees, she returns a few minutes later to explain they were out of salmon as well. We had the soft shell crab dinner (good but bland sides), the cedar planked scallops (good), a wedge with a cup of chowder (both good items), and a Fra Diablo (good).nThe server never offered to refill a drink, suggest a second glass of wine, or pre bus our table. We did get to watch the servers standing in the server station talking, and eating something they shared (twice).nnBottom line, the food is good, not great, the atmosphere is very good (cool fish tanks and view), but the service was disappointing.

Perfectly adequate seafood, but nothing to write home about. Raw oysters were fresh and delish. She crab soup very sweet - needed salt/season. Asked for ahi tuna sandwich cooked rare - it was medium at best and no seasoning, aioli was flavorless. Husband enjoyed fried oysters - they were not too battered and dipping sauce was yummy. Great service.

Very nice marina with floating docks and a pool Rent a golf car for getting around town if you are coming by boat. Really only downside was everything is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday . Also 9-5 on the other days. So can't buy Ice, fuel or anything on site during those times. Most of the markers on the Marina map for getting in are missing.

Oyster Farm Accommodations - Vacation Rentalsnwas Magnificent!! The Villa that we stayed in were clean, modern and quite luxurious. Plan to make another trip to stay again. The view of the marina was spectacular. Very quick walk to their beach front. Ask for Amber she is the Property manager and she is so pleasant and accommodating. I recommend this property for a special occasion or event. Good for adults to get away from adulting
