Tim's Place

Stopped in at the recommendation of a business owner because the pizza place wasn’t open. Horrible experience. Our server came by after we had been seated for 15 minutes, took our order, brought us water, and then disappeared for another 25 minutes. She came back to tell us our food would be right out. Ten minutes later, we got our order and it was completely wrong. My son had ordered the 1/2 pound burger meal and got a plain cheeseburger and potato chips (no fries and soda). His hamburger patty was in 2 pieces so a piece kept falling out. I had asked for sweet potato fries and got regular. The clam strips were soggy, so hardly edible. I went up to make sure I got charged for what we received, and the waitress got the ticket to check my story on the order, after she said she brought my son his soda and I disagreed. After making adjustments the manager sort of apologized (We’re a little busy, these things happen, sorry) but no one really offered to make it right. Will not eat there again, it was miserable.

Absolutely amazing food!! Get the hearty breakfast! With a mimosa! Holly and her daughter were awesome. Made us feel at home.. Holly a mimosa making queen!!

Great food!! Would 5 star....but service is a little slow for quick lunches. Although definitely worth the wait

I’ve read all the reviews and do not see how this place gets such good reviews. My family and I drove to Cape Charles today while on vacation and decided to eat at Tim’s. It was the absolute worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment we sat down, I had an uneasy feeling. My family of 6 and two tables of 2 were the only guests there, and I’m sure one of the tables the woman worked there. There was no hospitality. The waitresses did not care what they were saying or doing in front of guests. One smacked the other on the backside. Mask were in properly worn or not on. The kitchen staff(the only one I saw) didn’t not have a mask on. After watching and waiting for a good 40 minutes for our food to come out, I watched the waitress play on her phone constantly and constantly touching her face. When walked in the get our food, I watched and she did not wash her hands before bringing our food to the table. As she is passing baskets out, I am looking and notice the food was cold. My son got a pulled pork that I’m sure was warmed in the microwave as was the nachos we ordered. Corn dog was hard as a rock. I explained to the waitress all I had observed and she went and told Tim as were standing up after I said we were not eating it. Tim was in the back, it as he came up, he stopped at his office looking right at me and my family and proceeded to go in his office and close the door. After paying for one beverage and a T-shirt I asked the other waitress if that was Tim. She replied yes, and I told her it was some nerve not to come address the issue in his restaurant. I gave one star because there is no option of zero. Disgusting environment.

One of the staples of the Eastern Shore! Tim has always been a sharp and caring business man in Northampton County. Tim's is a good place to get a good home cooked meal!
