This place is an old school and real hardware store.nnYou know, the kind of place that is packed with all the odd size nuts, bolts, nails, washers and tools you would expect to find but cant. Upon entering this place, I was immediately greeted and given in person expertise and help. They were genuinely interested in knowing what the part was fixing and looking at workarounds. Great prices. Do yourself a favor and go here first before going to one of those frustrating bigger big chain stores. Thank you to however helped me today finding that o-ring 2/8/2021.
Unbeatable knowledge and amazing selection of hardware! JE Rice blows the big box stores out of the water, reminds me so much of the hardware store I used to go to with my Dad when I was growing up. Fantastic, friendly service and supporting a local business keeps me coming back!
Rice's is an old-fashioned hardware story -- full of all sorts of things you'd have a hard time finding elsewhere. They have an excellent collection of gas fireplace sets and they're very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. We bought our gas fireplace set there, and they know a very good installer.

The best hardware there is. The best service you will find. Everyone who works there knows where everything is located. They have everything. Even butter rum lifesavers in rolls. Don't waste your time at a big box store.
