This is a great service for attorney referral. In my case the attorney David Reed in Shenandoah was very professional and helpful. He stayed on point and made sure all of my questions were answered during the half hour. I trust the information and advise he gave. Unfortunately he works in a different county an hour away from my court house. Even the attorney recommended I find a local attorney for my issue since his travel time would make it cost prohibitive.nThe reason I did not rate this 5 stars is that it would be more helpful if the referral was to someone working within your own county. This would increase the likelihood that they can help now or in the future.

The service was invaluable. I at first got a lawyer who was not suitable and only interested in a retainer fee. When I mentioned this to the Service they insisted that they refer me to another lawyer free of charge. The second lawyer was excellent and very caring and concerned about costs. Couldn't have found him without their help.

This is the best way to find the right person for the situation you are in. The investment of $35 is well worth it to be able to get answers and to get a feel for the lawyer without having to put big cash down. Sometimes you can get the answers you need in the first meeting and not need to go further. It is a no pressure meeting when you can find out if this person has the background experience and skills needed for your case.

I chose Angela Haen, Esquire, to speak to about a dispute on amount an unscrupulous chiropractor was charging me. His name is Francis Lombardozzi, of Kempsville Chiropractic. Ms. Haen gave me good advice, was courteous and also caring. She helped me feel more confident about dealing with my situation. Unfortunately, the amount was too small for it to be worthwhile to hire an attorney; otherwise, I would have hired her in a heartbeat. Highly recommend Virginia Lawyer Referral Service, and also Angela Haen.
