We had been using Hanover Vegetable Farm to get our mulch for 4 years wanting to support small business and truly getting great service and mulch. This year was much different. I called and order 12 yards of mulch to be delivered (last year I ordered 11 and came up short and needed to get a few bags, no big deal, my fault) so this year I thought I would order another yard to make sure my yard was covered. After they dumped the mulch my husband (and neighbors) made a comment that there was no way that was 12 yards. I didn't think much of it and got to spreading. Well low and behold we came up FOUR beds short! Needless to say we are SO disappointed. We called and mentioned this on them and they assured us they we got the right amount but they will make sure it didn't happen again (fishy). They are correct about that as we will never buy mulch from them again. We always referred them to neighbors and family but never again. SO SO disappointed. Just beware when getting mulch delivered! I just hate to be taken advantage of. Very sad.

We've come here a few different times for different events. Red vein was really fun. Most recently visited for a Halloween festival which was also great. They've been really good about keeping everyone safe during these times.

Came in there yesterday for screened topsoil for raised vegetable garden. Wondering if they screen with a 2x4 dog lot wire because i got all sorts of stuff in the soil. twigs, limbs, and very large chunks of mud and rock solidified. I have to go back and see if it was sold as a scoop or cubic yard. I barely ended up with 24 cubic feet. So be careful what you ask for and look before you buy. This won't stop me from coming out there as I love what they do in the community and for the community. Carry on!

My boyfriend and I came here yesterday to celebrate our 1 year. We bought tickets for Red Vein, which takes place there at night, and decided to make a day out of it at the farm. Tickets were $12 vs the $10 the website said, but it was still well worth the price for everything that was included. This is the biggest pumpkin patch either of us has ever gone to! There was a corn maze, corn launcher, goats, turkeys, food trucks with all the seasonal favorites, and of course a nice length hay ride to the pumpkin patch. The pumpkins were included in the ticket price, which is awesome, because you could grab any size you could carry. There were other activities there as well for children and plenty of room to sit and eat. It’s definitely the most bang for your buck that we’ve come across. We’ll definitely be back!
