This outback was a breathe of fresh air. My son is gluten intolerant and allergic to apples and we tried three restaurants in the area before googling the closest outback and driving 20 minutes to see them. The server Lauren was amazing with my two year old and had such outstanding service that we tipped the bill tonight. Would definitely recommend and rate it a five out of five!!!

Everything from ordering the food for pick up to tasting the BEST dinners my husband and I have had from Outbacks in Mechanicsville! Tender, cooked to perfection steak to all the great toppings for our baked and sweet potatoes. Salads are always fresh and tasty with topping off our meals with the largest, freshest slice of delicious cheese cake!nThe best!...I want more please!

A chain steak house with a few details that make it worth your while. I've been coming to this location for a while. Mostly at first simply for the pub style apps and great beer selection at the bar with friends. The blooming onion and bread are a no brainier, delicious every time. Recently I've tried sitting down and having a steak with mixed results. I've had meals that everything we asked for but just not delicious or meals that were really good but not quite what we had ordered. Tonight, my wife's steak was perfect which for me, made my night. She prefers well done and that's not always easy. I prefer medium rare and my steak was to temp but the cut had a lot of gristle. My daughter's steak was way undercooked, we had asked for medium rare for her as well.nnWhile I may not have had a five star night tonight, I still really like this place as a whole. The staff has always been friendly, food comes out quick and had always been tasty.

I was so unhappy with my experience. My burger and bun was burnt. Well done does not equal burnt. I didn't finish it nor did I take it home. My fries were so salty. I got 2 to go orders for my family who were very unsatisfied with their meals too. One said her shrimp tasted rubbery and she didn't finish her food. My friend who was with me barely had meat on her ribs. Our server wasn't very attentive. It was not a good experience.

I don't know if they cook d my steak wrong but my Victoria Feliet was tough like it was from a old cow. I had not been to an outback for 5 or more years and after that meal I won't be back for another 5 years. The waitress was excellent and the one beer I had was tasty.
