Scheduled an appointment weeks ago, arrived on time for appointment, and was told my appointment was cancelled. Communication prior to WASTING MY TIME GETTING READY TO HAVE A HORRIBLE NIGHT IN SOME CLINIC TO SHOW UP FOR NOTHING would have been nice. Definition of incompetence.nnUpdated to 3 stars as my recent scheduled appointment with Dr. Manzlak was a very good experience. There office staff were very helpful and polite and the appointment was very efficient. This experience was 4 to 5 star worthy which updated my overall experience to 3.

I wish I could give a review of their facility, but they canceled on me twice and the second time was 5 hours before the sleep study was supposed to start. When you have to take off work and prep a five year old for a sleep study this is unacceptable. The staff did not care at all. I encourage everyone to find another sleep center. I will try to encourage my pediatrician to longer refer patients to them.

The review is on the technician. I took my 3 year old in for a sleep study and Zoran( Hope I spelt it right) was very pleasant and patient with him. He took the time to explain what he was doing and even answered my toddler questions.nThe room was clean and a decent size but I would recommend bringing a comforter from home. It was padded with extra sheet put we brought our own throw.

I am the caregiver of an autistic adult, and I am disgusted by the way they have treated him and his appointment. He stops breathing at night and has to have someone check on him regularly to make sure he doesn't die, he is scared to death, etc. His doctor wanted two tests done, one sleep study, and one study for narcolepsy. Because of two tests, he was scheduled 6 months out... half a year for someone special needs who is not breathing at night! Then the doctor cancelled the second test without consulting with his doctor, without letting us know, without discussing possibly scheduling sooner because it would only be one test... and then he was turned away at the appointment he had been desperate to go to for 6 months now. The poor guy has spent hours crying because he is sure is going to die and nobody cares. We have decided to go to VCU, because this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

Not fast with getting reports read and sent to your doctor. I had a Sleep Study done on September 15th, it is now October 4th and my doctor still has not gotten the report or even tech notes. I cannot get a new CPAP machine until this is sent to my doctor. My current CPAP machine is not working right. As of the last 3 days my CPAP machine has quit entirely. I need this due to severe Sleep Apnea. I called my Doctor to see if they had gotten the report yet because I need a new machine ASAP. They tell me no they have nothing. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the speediness or lack there of for getting the reports to your doctor so you can receive the care you need. However the tech Elisha that did the study I would give her 5 stars, she was great.
