Fredericksburg Medical Imaging just gave me the worst appointment runaround of my life. I tried for a week to get an MRI scheduled. It was approved by my insurance company. It had been ordered by my doctor and faxed to the Imaging Center three times. The Imaging Center told me it was never received. They told me I could hand deliver a copy. I took 90 minutes out of my day to drive to my doctor's office, pick up the order, deliver it to the Imaging Center. Upon arrival there, they took the order, but said that I would have to call the scheduling dept to schedule the appointment...the very same scheduling dept who kept saying they never received my doctor's order. I called them again. That time they told me I needed an insurance authorization code and asked me for it. Of course, I didn't have it...not my job, and the young lady agreed with that. She then said they would schedule me, but it would be pushed out 5 days to give them time to get the authorization code from my insurance I told her that after we scheduled the appointment, I wanted to lodge a formal complaint, and instead of scheduling me, she immediately transferred me to Heather...allegedly. I was put on hold with loud obnoxious music blasting. I finally hung up. I will never use their services again, and will be reporting them to the BBB.

They sent $44 to a collection agency. I didn’t even use insurance and paid over $1100 at the time of service so apparently the billing department is incompetent. They never mailed me a Bill saying I owe any extra or they made a mistake; never called or emailed me or attempted even to contact me. Absolutely terrible business practices, so I hope you never get referred here.

Hands down this is the friendliest doctor’s office I’ve been to in many years. Thank you to John and Jewell for their great attitudes and professionalism. I would definitely recommend a friend.

With EVERYONE struggling to make ends meet with the Pandemic and just surviving, it's very disheartening to know that in a facility such as this one, which is supposed to focus on Healthcare first, the bottom line is money. The billing and insurance department won't work with you and offer any affordable payment plans, so you're stuck choosing to forego medical testing your doctor ordered because you can't afford their down payment, even with your insurance. It truly is a shame that people and places in the medical field would put people in this position.
