Lets rate this organization for what they do, or in this case what they don't do, ever. Sand and salt subdivisions, ever. Hickory Ridge always gets slighted. Useless government facility. Roads in Hickory Ridge are always icey never attended to. Lets defund vdot. Best score available is a 0.01

Had a kitty ran over right in from in my house on rt 1. In the middle of the south bound lanes. My house is incredibly close to the road. They informed me that it takes 48-72 to remove the animal but bc Monday is a holiday they won’t be able to remove the kitty till Tuesday. It’s Friday...nSo, my kids and I have to see this poor mangled kitty every single time we walk out our front door or look out our window. I would move the baby myself, but we’re at a weird spot where incoming traffic can’t see to slow down bc of a hill. This is absolutely ridiculous. It’s not hard to have someone stop real quick and move the poor baby. Heartless and inconsiderate.

Thank you for your service! Each time we called to place a work order for the tall grass/weed maintenance at various intersections/streets, a VDOT crew delivered and timely.
