Dr. Bernstein, his nurse Heather and coordinators are nothing short of amazing. A family member of mine was in the hospital for days without a reason for any kind of infection. Dr. B to the rescue! He spent quite a bit of time researching and came back and had a treatment plan. From care coordination to financial assistance they had resources lined up and ready. They have a guy there named Daryl that is a God-send to their program. Once my mom went for blood work and honestly, after her fifth time, of trying, the lab still had no idea what the doctor wanted. The nurse, Anne, and Dr. Franchi were aloof and disengaged and could care less my mom had traveled about 100 miles, having gone back and forth for days. It was frustrating and vexing. Darryl to the rescue! He walked in and got the blood work within minutes. On another occasion, my mother's skin, the largest organ on her body started to fail. She was denied an appointment and I was met with great opposition from the nurse, Barbara. She hung the phone up on me as I begged for a more immediate appointment, rather than one month out. On that appointment she had my mother sign a paper which excluded her from speaking to me. They realized they erred in they had not seen my mother in over 9 months, yet they insisted on referring to me as the problem, because I was begging for immediate care as my mom had lost about 20 pounds. I knew I was fighting Satan, then. She came home with no script for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. I sent her to a chiropractor as a therapeutic resolve, to no avail. When I followed up with calls they were never returned and it took over a month after the appointment to get a cocktail-prescription for pharmaceutical grade fish oil and vitamin D3. Anne was not in the office, that day, and I let Barbie know I was coming in to speak with the doctor. Satan will use who ever he wants; but God certainly uses Darryl,, because I am confident and a living witness that once he gets involved things get done. He had my mom's prescription ready in twenty minutes. Thank you Jesus for Darryl! Please send IDA three more of him. (...And give us Dr. Chiang back!)
