Just went to explore somewhere new on a Sunday. Walked in a way surprised how large the establishment is. The waitress/bartender's service was excellent. The portions were huge. I'm 6'1 275+ and the portion were big for me. My girlfriend and I can't wait to go back and be prepared for the servings.

We visited on a Sunday for breakfast. Excellent biscuits but beware they are large. The French toast biscuit with homemade strawberry jam topping was delicious and a very large portion. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was delicious but the bacon was a little undercooked. We are looking forward to visiting again when it’s warmer and the outdoor seating is an option.

I'm new to the area and came in for breakfast. Heather was very polite and professional. However, her manager, KEVIN, was completely unprofessional. Heather lost a $24 ticket from a previous table. KEVIN thought it was a good idea to tell her, in front of me, in the front of house, that she would have to pay this ticket out of her pocket. NO KEVIN. The embarrassment on her face was heartbreaking. I've served tables for over 10 years and never in my life have I had to pay for a lost ticket out of my pocket. Also, I've never been reprimanded like that in front of customers. It was completely out of line. This business makes enough money to cover this lost ticket. Shame on you kevin. That was very poorly handled on your part. The food was good, but not good enough for me to come back after seeing how this establishment treats their employees. I hope the best for you Heather, that you find a place that appreciates you. Fork n biscuits is not that place. You deserve more than the unprofessional, poor treatment I witnessed today. I, in turn, tipped Heather 20 dollars. I shouldn't have to help her cover a lost ticket. Shame on you KEVIN. Be a decent human being. Or get out of the service industy.

Had the special Big Bird which was delicious. As a first timer was able to sample some of the Virginia Coffee they served. Also a treat. Staff was friendly and welcoming environment. My only disappointment was their waffle iron was broken so my dining partner was not able to try the waffle. Which means I have to go again once those irons are back up and I have to try the Scottish Eggs. ud83dude0b

Delicious breakfast! Very filling but so yummy. Kelly was an amazing server - she made us feel so welcomed and her good mood was contagious and the perfect way to start our day in Fredericksburg!
