I stop occasionally and have always been treated well and got what I came in for. I saw all the 1 and 2 stars and felt like I should say something. Its a small business and the guy is trying his best. The store is clean, well organized, stocked nicely. I will be stopping more often now.
Best hamburger in Clarke county. Friendly service
The staff is friendly but the gas and the cigarettes are more expensive than any of the gas stations in the surrounding area. The cigarette prices are even more than in WV, and way above what you'd pay at another store in VA. The gas prices never match the other gas stations in this area of VA either...closer to Charles Town prices. Idk it's a cool place but idk why the gas is consistently more expensive than places mere miles away. Or the cigs. The location is what keeps this place in business. Usually v crowded. Good for an emergency. Otherwise, wait a couple miles and save some money.
I stopped here one night when I was super low on fuel. The pump took my card info, but then wouldn’t pump gas. I ended up driving off and coasting tI the next station on fumes. Lesson learned, I will make sure to have enough fuel so I don’t have to stop here!
Nice little country store. Very, very nice people.
