If you're looking for mental health services, don't look here. I took my son for services because he was very angry and depressed. I told his psychiatrist that I was pretty sure he was bipolar, knowing the signs from his father. She said he was too young to be diagnosed with that and he probably had ptsd. I offered video of how he acted because she should have all facts, especially since he'd been hospitalized. She denied it. I was not listened to and I'm his mother. Since then, we have moved and he goes to a real mental health clinic and has been diagnosed with bipolar. He is now on the right meds and doing so much better. By the way, this was the Winchester branch on Braddock st.

My experience has been so rewarding the staff is so very helpful!! I don't even have the words to explain Dixie was always there for me to help with forms and everything just a wonderful person !! The receptionists are so helpful I believe her name is Cathy she's wonderful always asks how I am and I ask about her family especially Scott her son who was in Winchester when I was wonderful woman as are all receptionists. Nurse Julie God bless her is a lifesaver she works very hard to help you with what you need great woman!! And finally My Dearest Dr. Wake oh my he is so observant he knows me so well. I am never going to find another Dr, who will compare to him his knowledge goes far and beyond his just a psychological standpoint he listens to me when o suggest something new!!! I read up on my conditions and ask about medication he gives me a very honest answer I hope he continues to do well with his health I will keep him in my prayers Dr. Wake you are the best I will miss you beyond words. You helped make me the strong woman o am today THANK YOU TO EVERONE AT NORTHWESTERN MANY BLESSINGSnDeborah Breeden

So disappointed with their lack of communication and professionalism. I had my first appointment today @1:30. I got there and checked in 15 mins early. After waiting over an hour I was told by the front desk that she forgot to send a message to the lady I was seeing that I was here. So she had left for the office in Front Royal for another appointment and couldn't come back to see me. I was assured I would get another appointment quickly since this was their mistake, but when they called to reschedule my appointment is over 3 weeks out. This is not at all what I would expect from a mental health facility.
