My favorite place to launch from. Takes about 4/5 hours to get to Canoe Landing at the James River State Park.. 6/7, if your like us and stop to dilly dally for hours.

This is a greta place to drive your car or truck up to and put your boat into the water. There is no restroom here but if you are a dude, there is just enough privacy. Heck, if you aren't there is till probably enough. I don't know, I am a dude so you will have to use you best judgement.

Usually over-crowded with boaters that don't know proper boat ramp etiquette. Ramp doesn't extend very deep and typically muddy on surrounding banks

Plenty of parking and easy access to ramp to unload/load boats
