Nice establishment. Doctor is kind and takes time to explain the situation thoroughly. Cost is higher than average. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The vet there is exceptionally awesome with your animals well as for other that she was going to when you always sedate her because they said she wasn't a good cat this man done way more than her prior vet at rustburg veterinary clinic in rustburg ever done for

I don't recommend this place, the Dr and the staff are very nice people (so 2 stars for that) but if you truly care for your animal you should go somewhere else. I took my cat here hoping he'd get better, but I was wrong, I feel like the Dr didn't do much to try and figure out what was wrong with him, but at the time I didn't think about that, I just wanted my baby to get better.. if I could I would go back in time and take him somewhere else or tell the Dr to try harder, to try something other than laser treatments. It has taken me months to write this because I've been grieving, I still am. ud83dude3f Don't hold back from questioning your vets work, that was my biggest mistake.. The biggest mistake of my life and I regret it every single day.....ud83dudc94 So unless it is something simple like needing a shot, getting a quick checkup or needing advice, etc. Don't take your animal here, especially if you don't have an idea of what could be the problem, because I don't think this is a place that'll help.

Very friendly and they provide great care for your pet. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had a serious concern with my pet. They were able to get me scheduled within three days. I saw Dr. Burger in the morning, and then that afternoon he called around the area to make sure my cat could get in for surgery (he couldn't do it so he made sure to find a clinic that could, which I appreciated). Appomattox Animal Hospital then called the next day to make sure I got the surgery scheduled. Dr. Burger is a little old school, but I could tell he truly cared about my pet and getting him the care and surgery he needed.
