Hands down, Ben Pate is the most caring and intuitive provider I've ever met. Very VERY thankful I was referred to him during a crucial period. He was the only medical provider that took the time to pinpoint the issues I was having (after 3 years of symptoms). Same day appts + kind staff are a true plus. I can't say this enough: we need more care providers like him!!!

I wish I could give more stars! My two year old needed to come in and get stitches and I felt Ben did an AMAZING job. He had never met us before, but immediately I saw that he loved and cared for my daughter and wanted her to feel safe and taken care of. You just don’t find people truly this genuine these days! Great guy, great prices. He is very knowledgeable and is great with teenagers. He really shows he cares during visits and makes himself available to you if needed after hours. Very cool doctors office. I highly recommend.

Ben Pate is a truly caring and knowledgeable health care provider in Hood River. His staff always gets me in same day and they take excellent care of me! I have seen him for various illnesses; flu, pneumonia, colds etc. Ben has also seen my son and is great with kids. Go see him for your physicals, urgent care or whatever you may need health wise. He’s awesome!

We own a business here in Hood River, we had an employee cut his hand deep enough to require stitches. I called Compass Family Medicine. I was so impressed with them we walked through the door and I think that within a minute our employee was in and being seen. The cost was so reasonable. I referred a friend and was treated that day.
