Blue Ox Bar

Very good pizza but if you go in the summer you will suffocate from how hot it is down here. They need to do something to cool it off, but the pizza is still worth it.

Food was OK but service was quite bad. It took 15mn for someone to take our order and a good 30mn extra to be served two pizzas.

One of the most iconic bars in Oregon has changed into a pizzeria. Can there be one bar at Timberline that is not family friendly?

If you're taking the Timberline Lodge tour, or staying at the Lodge, a quick visit to the Blue Ox Bar is a must. First off, it's just plain neat. It is a stone building, built within a wood building, it's difficult to describe, but you just feel a sense of exploration when you find it. The selection is a tad limited, and the prices are a tad high, but the novelty factor makes it well worth the trip.

I gave this place five stars because of its location and great design. We actually couldn't go there, as it was closed : (
