This place is great! We have Danny & Michael as our instructors. I’ll admit the first hour was pretty ruff!! But they are very encourage and kept our spirits up! They gave me some one on one help to work on struggle areas and by the end of the day I was moving pretty fast across the water! I got some great video in my GoPro. For once, I was better at a new sport than my husband!! Yessssssssss. We are hoping to come visit again next week! And If you build up an appetite and wanted to end the evening with the most beautiful view & great service; stop by the restaurant inside the hotel. This was the perfect romantic getaway!

Hood river waterplay accommodated a last minute request for jet ski rental. Thanks Sierra! We had a great time on the Columbia. Beautiful views on a sunny day. We did not find the river to have much traffic at all on a Thursday so we had a lot of room to play with. One thing to note is that the location is tucked away behind a best western

Would give zero stars if posable.nSuper bummed as on the phone all sounded great.nHad a class set up, made hotel reservations and even had family come out to watch the kids learn to wind surf.nWe get there and the instructor sitting in the parking lot tells us we can't do the class because of no wind. We were fine with that as we are all beginners and ask why we were not contacted to cancel. We still wanted to do the class. We were then told the office was closed up and locked and the person in charge was out paddle boarding and had the keys. We then saw jet skis and asked if we could rent those... Nope!nComplete waist of a day off. Definitely not recommend !!!!

We came into today and rented a jet ski for a few hrs it was a good amount of time as the area is limited to a few miles! The weather was perfect 87 degrees. It’s such a beautiful area, my girlfriend and I will be going back next week. Give yourself about extra 45 min to do paper work and watch a 10 min video on information. The young gal did such a great job she is very sweet and is new I was impressed, she had a lot to learn. They are very Thorough. They offer kyaks, paddle boards, and more and there is a roped off practice area.nOnce you get on the river it can be quite rough so be careful. It’s so much fun but especially when you get to driveud83dude0a give them a try they are very helpful and friendly. Cya next week Tammie and Shawn walker

My 13 year old son had a lesson with the instructor for the hobie cat. He liked it very much, we are glad they were open. All staff wore masks, followed guidelines, and kept their distance. Amazing prices, friendly people.
