80+ campsites, at least 30 will fit our 19’ Airstream. Stayed on the upper loop in spot #6 (the best spot) right above the fast-flowing Hood River. There is drinkable water, but only a few sites had threaded spigots. No electric hook-up/no dump station. Super clean bathrooms and showers. Right on top of Hood River. We went there twice in late August and zero bugs! It really wasn’t that busy. First come, first served with numbered spots at $25, and named (riverside) spots on the lower loop for $35. Use the pay station at the entrance – takes credit cards – and clip your receipt to your campsite post marker. Good mix of full sun & shade. T Mobile cell service was 2 bars.

Very nice clean picnic area. Views of the river from the fence and on the trail. The trail is for the sure-footed though as it is rocky and narrow at points. Decent flush toilets. Pack garbage out. Picnic shelter and ancient brick cooking area. Park is open until 10/31.

If I could give the stars I would! The camp host is so kind and makes your feel right at home. Each spot has its own charm and there are access points to go swim in the river. Can’t wait to go back!

We love Tucker Park! It is great for families. It has a grassy picnic area with several picnic tables. There is a short trail along the river. It is steep in the beginning and rocky in several places but it offers several spots along the river for kids to get to throw rocks in the water. If you got muddy or sandy on the trail there are a few facet stations in the grassy area for rinsing yourself and your kids off. There are also bathrooms with sinks for hand washing!
