My husband and I are from out of town, we spent a weekend away in a little location around the water, went for a drive thru several towns just for relaxation, got hungry and found the Apple Peddler which is a very cute restaurant. They gave us good service, we liked their friendly people but the food was not so great, seemed frozen and microwaved, it was overly dry, didn't taste like anything and was hard to chew. This place got potential but the food needs to be of better standard., nothing replaces fresh quality ingredients and home cooked style meals, it adds to the experience of dining out and will bring new customers
I really enjoy eating at the Apple Peddler. The waitress staff is friendly. All of the people who have gone with me since January have all enjoyed the food too.
Good service. Food.....you get what you pay for. Canned gravy. Frozen chicken fried steak. Cheap toast. Three tiny egg omelette looks like it came off a kids menu. Fresh cracked? Eggs are 99 cents a dozen. Good flavor. The chef did a good job for what he/she has to work with.
Hard working staff that takes care of customers, If the lady complaining about cakes & biscuits says she had a great server, why didn't she get new ones? They always fix issues if told!
Good place to stop when hauling a trailer because of parking availability in the grocery store lot. Food was typical for these types of places and service was good. We'll probably stop again while going through the area.
