Awesome shop. My lady and I decided to make the short drive from Seattle to discover the wonderland that is Purple Tornado Art Studio, Antiques, Rock and Lapidary Shop in Issaquah. Proprietor, Collector, and extremely knowledgeable John W. answered all our many questions about his amazing selection of not only Antiques and Oddities but also huge selection of top quality minerals, gems, and jewelry. He gave us a very fair price on our treasures. Great shop + Friendly and Knowledgeable Owner + Amazing Collection = an A+ establishment. We will definitely be returning an definitely taking a class with John. Awesome adventure!! Call before you go!

One of a kind!nThis place has something for everyone ! The owner, Jon, just melted heart with his excitement and passion for what he does.nThe antiques are exquisite and rare as are the stones. This place is a rare gem all in itself, it has an indescribable charm that you will not find anywhere else. It is old school May Valley/Issaquah and is the heart and soul of the area. I love love love this place.

This little shop seems like a hidden gem and probably worth the drive but be sure to call before paying purple tornado a visit. I am about 50 Mins away from their shop and was disappointed to learn they do not follow the posted hours of operation. Today is Tuesday. I was informed they might be open on Saturday but was they did not know what time for sure.nDefinitely check them out but don’t make the drive without calling first!
