West Valley Orthopedics

I had been having issues with my elbow, and I had received a cortisone shot from another provider prior to my visit with West Valley Orthopedic. I was unimpressed and decided to call West Valley for another opinion. I’m so happy I did! I saw Dr. Daines, who was phenomenal. He gave me all of my options, which included options not covered by insurance. He is adamant that his patients are informed and educated about their options regarding their care. When I decided to go ahead with a procedure not covered by insurance, I sent an email to Dr. Daines. I had a reply with an hour from his medical assistant. Aubrey Chaney, medical assistant, was super helpful and provided additional information that I had requested.nnFast forward to the day I had my procedure, it didn’t go as planned and I had to reschedule. It was nobody’s fault...just one of those days. Everyone was still friendly and attentive to my needs. When I went back for my rescheduled appointment, I was in and out quickly. They even had a medical emergency which set them behind. The person who performed the procedure, Hodaka Abe, PA-C, was amazing. He was gentle, calming, caring, and he was very careful when performing the procedure. He talked with me a good 20 minutes after completion to ensure I was okay and good to go. Hands down the best man ever!nnKuddos to this provider for not forgetting why they do what they do. It’s about the patient, as it should be. They are a class act.
