Hummingbird Cabins

I love Hummingbird, but for the price I paid the cabin had no wood, the dishes were greasy the washer was moldie and smelled terrible no shampoo in the downstairs bathroom 1 wash cloth per bathroom and they ask that you use a rinse agent in the dishwasher well can't use it if there isn't any. There were other issues Ive never been one to complain but it's alot of money for what we got. Plus 10:30 am check out to early trying to clean the place and pack. I will always use Hummingbird but hope it's a better experience next time.

We had a wonderful two week stay with Hummingbird Cabins at the Grand Elk in July. Much of the bedding throughout the house was new and fresh. Much of the living room and sunroom furniture was very current and much of the house seemed freshly painted. We cooked in the kitchen, played pool, used the hot tub and had a grand time.

It was a HORRIBLE experience! Everything was dirty, trust me. It was supposed to be a relaxing experience but in ended up being everything but that. Besides all that I encourage you to see how the OWNER replies to people that give reviews. NO PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL. Who would want to stay at a place offered by someone like that? Accuses people of numerous things and doesn’t take any responsibility for the problems with the cabin. Over all it is filthy, and disgusting. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Hummingbird cabins doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The owner is not professional at all. I can see on the other reviews that they don’t care about their customers at all. Instead of trying to fix the problem and make their cabins safe to rent they lie about everything and they always have something to say. I think if someone is spending their money on your cabins at least make sure they are safe for kids, because really bedbugs that’s nasty. If you are going to Ruidoso on vacation don’t rent hummingbirds cabins spend your money Somewhere else because who ever is in charge of this cabins needs to take costumer service clases. Who wants to pay more than 1000 dollars to sleep in beds full of bedbugs!!!! Or BLOOD on beds!! Ewww!!
