You are not currently allowed to enter the VCC so you have to knock on the door. However, if they are not paying attention when you knock, do not open the outside door because they may be rude to you for opening it. Also, they apparently no longer allow you to sponsor yourself but didn't think to notify the base population. Good job security forces!
