Elbert County Building Department

It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone in the building department. Everyone has their phone forwarded to voicemail and they do not return your calls.nHow does a government office conduct business this way??? There are required inspections that you cannot reach anyone to schedule or to obtain the results of those inspections. When you email documents to them, you'll be lucky if they are seen after a week. I work in more than 50 different counties and cities and have never encountered just a horrible run building department.

I’ve never dealt with a building department that refuses to answer the phone and has never once called back after we leave a voicemail.
