Charming old-school joint, with lots of character. And the food is great! First-rate crispy calamari, great steak & delicious meatballs. The very friendly owner Johnny was tending bar & he is aces! Serves a ice-cold Genesee in a frosted schooner. Recommended!
Absolutely iconic Youngstown establishment, members of my fraternity have been going there for 50+ years. I've been out of school for almost ten years and I still stop in occasionally. You can eat great food and have a couple beers for next to nothing.
One of the best home cooking restaurants in Youngstown! Has an old time feel and the bartenders wear white shirts with black ties just like they used too in the olden days! Take a step back in time and go try them out. You won't be disappointed!
It just closed. Of course before it did they had to give me a crappy meal and crappy service door the first time ever! Good bless the recently deceased Naples brothers. They made it a fine place to eat and have a drink for decades.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, terrific service. I had the jumbo burger w/ fries and calimari appetizer. Great food at an unbeatable price. The staff was very friendly and dressed classy to accentuate the classic diner vibe.
